Karol Czuba is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Politics at the University of the South. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Department of Political Science at the University of Toronto in 2019.

At the University of the South, he teaches courses on comparative politics, African politics, and the politics of development.
Karol's research focuses on political development, and especially on the formation of political elites and the impacts of their members’ behavior on state-society relations, state capacity, and government provision of public services.
