Whether your interest lies in research, clinical experience, or outreach, we have an internship for you. Our internships range from the summer Vanderbilt-Sewanee Undergraduate Research Program (V-SURE) to clinical internships at area medical clinics during the academic year. These clinical internships are a great way to explore a career as a medical doctor, physician assistant, or nurse. There are also many opportunities for students to shadow local pharmacists, dentists, physical therapists, and veterinarians. Our strong alumni network allows us to offer Alumni ACE Medical Internships in a variety of specialties. We are proud to offer several clinical/research internships, including the Sewanee-at-Yale Directed Research Program, the Vanderbilt program mentioned above, and our Carter Center internship in Uganda. New internships for this summer include an opportunity in Haiti and four positions in Memphis, TN in collaboration with Centre and Rhodes Colleges through the Mellon Foundation.
