The Sewanee Literary Society and the 213-A Leaders Program is sponsoring a worksop with poet Ciona Rouse (who is currently teaching ENGL349: African-American Literary Societies) on Wednesday, March 2, at 4 PM in the Alumni House.
The Sewanee Literary Society and the 213-A Leaders Program are excited to share an incredible opportunity coming up this week: poet Ciona Rouse, who currently teaches the Black Literary Societies course at Sewanee, will be leading a Writing Workshop on Wednesday, March 2nd. The workshop will begin at 4pm in the McGriff Alumni House (the building in-between Guerry and the Library).
There's no pressure to bring a piece with you; this workshop will be generative, so there will be a collective writing session built-in. Just bring your creativity and a laptop or notebook to write with. The poster for this event is attached to this email, so feel free to repost it to share this opportunity with others!
