The Center for Leadership is for Sewanee faculty and staff. Its mission is 1) to elevate the leader within through professional and personal development programs, and 2) to promote communication and collaboration among colleagues to build strength and trust.
The University has a subscription to Academic Impressions, which is a service that has a library of training resources and tools designed for higher education professionals. Resources available include webcasts (both live and recorded), research and reports, blog postings, and virtual conferences. The five modules cover: Foundations of Supervising Staff, Positions Request Checklists and Forms, Hiring Staff Members, Staff Compensation, and Collaborative Review. For each module there is a quick quiz covering the outlined material.
